Sometimes the most memorable activations are the ones shoppers don’t see coming.
For Penrith After Dark, we transformed the Finders Keepers storefront into a live entertainment experience with performers appearing as mannequins inside the shop window.
At first, everything appeared completely still.
Then someone moved.
Shoppers began to realise the mannequins were actually alive. Phones came out, people stopped mid-walk and crowds gathered as the performers gradually broke the illusion, interacted with passersby and brought juggling, movement and comedy out of the window and into the surrounding space.
The activation didn’t simply entertain people near the retailer, it made the retailer part of the entertainment.
One shopper even bought the hat straight off one of our performers.
